Chris Cook receives L3 Award in Mentoring Practice certificate from YSD i-Academy and OCN WM

On the 21st December at Loughborough University, Chris Cook, YST Senior Athlete Mentor, was presented with his OCN West Midlands Level 3 Award in Mentoring Practice from Lori Randall, Head of YSD i-Academy and Lee Moore, Director of Business Development at OCN WM.

Chris Cook is a swimming champion having achieved as double  Commonwealth Games champion and record holder, British Record holder, World Medallist, European Medallist and Olympic finalist.  He is now using his knowledge and experience to help others to achieve their goals and dreams.

Chris commented at the presentation ceremony that he has already started to benefit from the knowledge and skills he attained on the course which includes;  how to apply a model of mentoring to practice, effective communication skills and how to improve own mentoring practice.
